We're Open--Sort Of! 😷
To our valued customers:
After seeing car after car slow down at our farm stand in anticipation of our spring opening and then drive away, we’ve decided to “partially open”. Just pull over to the side of the road and call us at 570-202-7324 and we’ll come to you at your car and safely fill your order, using all of the proper “social distancing” precautions. We’re staying at home, so we’ll be here.
We have beautiful herbs—flat Italian parsley, curly parsley, oregano, Italian Genovese basil, Purple Petra basil, lettuce leaf basil, and (new this year) Tulsi (holy) basil. We also have a few brassicas left—cauliflower, cabbage and Brussels sprouts.
We hope this works out for all of us during this difficult time. We’re glad to do our part to keep life as normal as possible. Stay safe.

It's Only Temporary 😷
In keeping with Governor Wolf’s request, we have decided to temporarily close our farm stand. Be safe. Stay home
Pansies Are Here
Our beautiful pansies are a sign that spring has finally arrived. Stop and take home a few of these happy faces.
Elephant Garlic--Mmmmm Good
We’ve grown elephant garlic for our customers for many years. It’s a best seller, available in July. But just look at it now!
Peppers Get An Early Start
We grow 19 varieties of peppers — some hot, some sweet. There’s something for everyone at our farm stand.
The Start Of It All
We start our thousands of seedlings in a spare bedroom under lights, then repot them in our greenhouse where they continue to thrive. Look for them at our farm stand in April.
Today's Harvest
Hot days, warm nights and lots of rain mean lots of heirlooms to pick. Shop our farm stand for the freshest produce around.
Early Morning Fog Over The Garden
Early morning is the very best time to visit our garden.
Beautiful Cut Flowers--Wow!
With a lovely variety of hard-to-find annuals, as well as a large selection of zinnias and sunflowers, our cut flower bouquets are beautiful as well as reasonably priced.
Elephant Garlic--Mmm Good
Just a portion of our harvest of elephant garlic. A relative of the leek, elephant garlic has a milder taste than regular garlic. For those who love garlic but not the strong taste, try it. You’ll like it!
Summer Season Is Here
We planted 220 tomato plants this spring; nearly all are heirlooms. With 48 varieties, we’ll have something for everyone. Look for them at our farm stand in mid-July.
See You In July
We had a very successful spring season, selling our tomato, pepper and herb plants here on Cherry Valley Road. Our produce harvest will start in July. See you then.
Our Shade House
We have 48 varieties of tomatoes; nearly all are heirlooms. The overflow from our greenhouse goes into the shade house until there is room at the farm stand. Come and visit. We are open every day, 8am till 6pm.
Another Sign Of Spring
When the daffodils bloom the goldfinches come.
A Sure Sign Of Spring
Hundreds of daffodills make the view of Whispering Hills Farm a neighborhood attraction.
Our New Sign
Pansies surround our new Whispering Hills Farm sign in the front yard.
Beginning A New Spring Season
These seedlings will get tender, loving care until they are big enough to go into our greenhouse. Then it’s out to our self-service roadside stand where our customers can purchase them. Look for sales beginning in two weeks.
Pansies Are Here!
Pansies are a sure sign of Spring. Our customers love ‘em!
A New Offering
This Spring we are selling succulents for the first time. At $3 each, they are a beautiful update to our farm stand.
