Our Top Seller
We planted 15 Sun Gold plants this year and still can't keep up with the demand. Thank you to all who have bought!
Shallots By The Basketful
We grew shallots for the first time. They're beautiful. Should've grown them before!
Beautiful Cherry Tomatoes
Finally! After a very slow start, with cold temps and little rain, we've finally seen the first of our cherry tomatoes!
A Truckload of Goodness
Our elephant garlic is a big seller.
That's a good thing because we have a lot!
A Bumper Harvest of Elephant Garlic
Our elephant garlic is a not-too-distant cousin of the leek, with a milder flavor. We love it as a substitute for the stronger garlic that grocery stores sell. Try it!
Summer Hiatus
After a very busy and wet spring, we take a break from the farm stand to work in the garden, weeding and getting ready for the late summer harvest. See you in July!
Road Trip
Taking a road trip to beautiful Potter County, PA was just what we needed after a busy, rainy and cold spring. The garden is planted (finally!); now it's time to wait till harvest time begins in late July.
Pansies Are Here!
A sure sign of spring, our pansies are ready for sale as soon as our farm stand opens.
Our Seedlings Are Started!
Our spare bedroom becomes the perfect place to start our seedlings. They'll be ready for sale in a few weeks.
Heirloom Seed Savers
Pepper seeds, cleaned and dried, will be saved for planting this winter.
Saving Heirloom Seeds
Heirloom tomato and pepper seeds, cleaned in jelly jars and dried on paper towels, will supply us with plenty of seedlings in the spring.
Shallots For The Spring
Our fall-planted shallots will be ready for harvest in the spring.
Zinnias are a sure sign that summer is in full swing
Zinnias, sunflowers, celosia, strawflowers, amaranth and more thrive in the summer heat.
Repurposed pallets reflect our view of life on the farm
Fresh produce straight from our garden
We can't say we're "certified organic" but we use only natural practices to grow our crops. Hand picking pests is a pain but it's worth it to stay healthy. Enjoy!
We're open for business
Our farm stand does a thriving business each summer with unique heirloom tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and 6 kinds of potatoes. Stop by for a taste of summer!
Our Newest Project
We've outgrown our greenhouse. This shade house holds the overflow and provides a great way to harden off the tomatoes, peppers and herbs. A few sections of 1/2" PVC pipe, some rebar and good ol' duct tape made the project a cinch.
